NewWay's XML Web Services provide an infrastructure with a discovery mechanism to locate the service, a service description (WSDL) defining how to use a service, data types using XSD schemas, and a standard wire format (SOAP). It's agnostic regarding the choice of operating system or programming languages, loosely coupled, ubiquitous communication, and uses universally accepted existing open standards.
