SCHOOL DAY MODEL TECHNOLOGY IS FROZEN-IN-TIME

When only 60%-70% of high school students are scheduled by existing systems, school administrators and counselors work for weeks before school opens to schedule the remaining 40%-30% of students by hand. Why did the school's system stop at such a low number of students scheduled? And, the results of scheduling so many students by hand has negative impact on students and teachers, because class balancing and student course preferences are unfortunately set aside so all students are in classes when school opens. That's why there are weeks and weeks of schedule changes by counselors after high schools open, where students and parents are not happy.

The needs of middle school students, grades 5-8, differ from high school students 9-12. So when middle school leaders use a system designed for high schools, their students are only partially scheduled, leaving a significant amount of work to be done by school administrators and counselors by hand.  Because some conflicts are not realized until after school opens, classes are moved from teacher to teachers; sometimes, until late October.

And most elementary school leaders place all their students, grades PK-5, by hand into teacher academic classes (Math, ELA,SS and Sci.), special classes (Art, Music, Tech and Library), as well as Phys. Ed., Health, Lunch and Recess, where students with special needs based on their IEP are placed by hand as well.
